Hosting software FAQ

Do players need to download an app?+

No. Players open 321Trivia in their phone’s browser and scan the QR code or type the game code. There is nothing to install and no account to make.

What equipment do I need to host?+

A laptop or computer running a web browser, and a screen the room can see for the TV display. A speaker is nice for music and sound effects.

Can more than one host run games at the same time?+

Yes, on the Business plan: it runs several games at once, you can add host seats, and teammates are invited to the same account.

Can I use my own questions?+

Yes. Write your own in the Game Builder, mix them with the 321Trivia question library, or generate rounds with the AI question builder on plans that include it. The Free Host Demo and Party use library questions only.
